If you do not need a Macau tourist visa, a Travel Entry Permit is required instead.
Nationals from 63 countries, including USA and Canada, are allocated a thirty day visa free stay in Macau upon arrival. European and Japanese nationals are allowed a ninety days visa free stay, and UK nationals six months. As with most other countries, you will need a passport valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry. If you intend on doing business in Macau, as an increasing number of people are, you will need to apply for a business visa at your nearest Chinese embassy or consulate.
If you do not need a Macau tourist visa, a Travel Entry Permit is required instead. This is usually issued when you arrive in Macau.
